donateNYC Partnership

The donateNYC Partnership is an association of New York City nonprofits that accept and redistribute donated goods. The mission of the donateNYC Partnership Program is to support the work of partner organizations as well as promote the social, environmental, and economic benefits that reuse provides to local communities.

donateNYC Partners receive a wide-range of programs, services, and support. donateNYC is a program of the NYC Department of Sanitation and all services are city-funded. These benefits and services are designed to provide partners with valuable educational, networking, and collaboration opportunities, as well as promotional support to further develop sector/community relations.

The overall donations and reuse sector in NYC is a vibrant, growing group of organizations, businesses, and individuals dedicated to expanding and promoting the practice of materials reuse. Given their low cost and large abundance, reusable materials provide a sustainable benefit to our local economic, social, and environmental well-being.

Who is eligible?
Nonprofit organizations, located within the five boroughs, which collect and redistribute (through their own operations) used or surplus materials from NYC residences, businesses, or government agencies.
